The product that we are building will be a tool used for digital forensic investigations.

The current problem with collecting evidence from a digital device is that forensic investigators must go through every single file located on the device to find what they are looking for. In order to solve this problem, we are creating a complete database of all android applications along with an external tool that will be able to retrieve data from it. When using our tool, investigation length will be shortened drastically, as it will display the location of information on the device for a particular application. The end goal we have for this project is to aid in helping digital forensic investigators in obtaining the information they need to prove the innocence of a criminal suspect using data that has been collected on their devices in a time-efficient manner.
